Aprilaire Humidifier

Aprilaire humidifier is a whole house humidifier that has been acclaimed and acknowledged by many. Humidifier is an electric household appliance that helps in increasing the humidity or moisture of a given area. This could either be a room or even a house. Humidifiers can be classified in to different types. They can be point of use humidifiers or furnace humidifiers. Point of use humidifiers, as the name suggests, can only be used for a single room while the other can be used for an entire house. This is done by connecting the humidifier to the house’s HVAC system.

Humidifiers from Aprilaire were introduced in 1954 and are known to be the first ones to invent a whole house, fully working humidifier. In addition to this, these humidifiers work on Automatic Digital Humidifier Control. This facility takes care of the temperature outside the house and the levels of humidity inside the house before displaying maintenance and troubleshooting reminders. The installation of these humidifiers is also very easy and takes minimum time. It can be installed directly on the central heating and cooling systems, whether new or existing.

Humidity, in the form of water vapor, gets mixed with the air inside the house and thus inhibits the entrance of minerals in the house, and potentially in your lungs. Water, that has to flow, is collected by the distribution tray and it regulates the flow of water. This water flows evenly through the Aprilaire Water Panel. The air inside is now humidified and it flows from the ducts of the system, thus providing a safe and a pleasant atmosphere to breathe in.

During winters, it does not always help to turn up the temperature. Most of the daily activities do not produce enough moisture that can retain the humidity in the air. This is where humidifiers can be helpful. Aprilaire humidifier is much better when compared to any portable humidifier. It does not require daily cleaning or disinfecting and always provides the right amount of moisture. Also, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency, 4% of the heating bill can be saved for every degree fall in thermostat.
